The summer is over, uff, we survived the heat, the hustle, the ''you can't schedule anything because everyone is on holidays'', we survived 6 weddings in France, elopement in Malta, all the summer weddings in Ireland and a crazy big workshop-retreat in Spain my friend and I organised. Mentally I'm ready for a year review and I've never had more lazy October than this one, so maybe I should start it now instead of in January. I'm just going to mention, there are 2 more weddings to shoot and some more travel to take (the Azores, hello!) but I've never been more excited to take Christmas off and enjoy our one year since we got the house keys just before Christmas!

Today I'm taking you back to the Spanish countryside to talk about one thing - how amazing it is to see an idea born a year ago come into life and exceed its expectations. I couldn't be more proud if I tried, the work everyone put into creating Retiro Sambana Shoot & Retreat has been immeasurable, all the vendors, Radka, James, Neil & I, the chef, our yoga teacher, all of the amazing participants coming all the way to Spain. Thank you! This wouldn't happen without all of us, the vision, the hard work to create a fun week abroad full of pool dips, Sangria, work, learning and bonding. It has been amazing and I swear our video has been watched over and over again a million times, as a reminder how fabulous and real it all was.
