Lush greenery, amazing white sand and fabulous ceremony location overlooking the valley were as close to tropical perfection as a wedding can get. Just walking around the little huts made us feel like we’re in Polynesia, the temperature was reaching 40*C over lunchtime, so we were all glad the ceremony wasn’t until 5 pm. The whole day wasn’t taking place in Saint Tropez, but rather on the beach along the coast, in the region of Ramatuelle. It’s a small commune in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France, with its capital (Ramatuelle town) overlooking wine valleys and Saint Trop itself. It’s those sandy beaches you’re thinking of when talking about Saint Trop or south of France in general, as the town itself has only one small, rocky beach to its name.
