Read MoreThe Saint Tropez wedding of Dina and Victor was a highlight of the past summer. Lush greenery, amazing white sand and fabulous ceremony location overlooking the valley were as close to tropical perfection as a wedding can get. Just walking around the little huts made us feel like we’re in Polynesia, the temperature was reaching 40*C over lunchtime, so we were all glad the ceremony wasn’t until 5 pm. The whole day wasn’t taking place in Saint Tropez, but rather on the beach along the coast, in the region of Ramatuelle. It’s a small commune in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France, with its capital (Ramatuelle town) overlooking wine valleys and Saint Trop itself. It’s those sandy beaches you’re thinking of when talking about Saint Trop or south of France in general, as the town itself has only one small, rocky beach to its name.

I have an absolute pleasure to show you today this relaxed, summer countryside wedding, where friends & family, food, good music and fun were at heart of every decision Cal & Victoria made. From the moment they booked me & then when we met I knew this is going to be one of my favourite weddings of 2019. When I heard about their venue & decor plans, prosecco bar, s’mores, cigars & outdoor ceremony I knew exactly this wedding will be relaxed, laid back and just a lot of fun to attend and photograph.

I couldn't be more proud if I tried, the work everyone put into creating Retiro Sambana Shoot & Retreat has been immeasurable, all the vendors, Radka, James, Neil & I, the chef, our yoga teacher, all of the amazing participants coming all the way to Spain. Thank you! This wouldn't happen without all of us, the vision, the hard work to create a fun week abroad full of pool dips, Sangria, work, learning and bonding. It has been amazing and I swear our video has been watched over and over again a million times, as a reminder how fabulous and real it all was.

My partner and I arrived in France 2 days ahead of Dina & Victor’s wedding, so we could visit the venue, look around for some photo opportunities and get used to the extreme 40’C temperatures around the French Riviera. Dina, Victor, their Video Team and I met at La Forge restaurant in Ramatuelle at about 7 pm and went on an adventure around town ahead of their wedding the next day.
